I think this idea would have been silly and unneeded. Like has been been mentioned, there was already enough villains. There didn't need to be some kid around. I don't think the Kai storyline would have worked in MMPR.

I agree the Kai storyline wouldn't have worked in the series since Rita wasn't a sorceress that was out for revenge because she believed dinosaurs had murdered her son. She was just a sorceress that was in a war against Zordon and decided to set her sights on Earth because it was the closest planet to the Moon.

It would have been cool to see a young Thrax in MMPR. I bet he would have been pretty funny.

I'm sure the idea of Thrax didn't even exist during the existence of MMPR. But if it did, Saban could have made and sold more toys.

I'm sure the idea of Thrax was something that took the writers five minutes to come up with. Of course they didn't get a chance to make it make sense.

technically Saban doesn't make or sell toys that's Bandai's job and they rarely make villain figures. Back during MMPR they sold figures of all lead villains except for Scorpina even though there were concept plans to sell her in her Monster Form. MMPR was pretty much the only series where they made villain figures for most of the leadership crew.
