no it was because they didn't have a suitable actress for her in fact here's a message I posted that's dated for 2012 which hopefully accurately details what happened

I found the link by googling Sabrina Lu, the actress that played the in-suit Scorpina in Season 2's "Goldar's Vice Versa."

Apparently Wendee told the fan that the studio wanted more Scorpina and after her Zyuranger footage ran out, they tried tracking down Ami (the Zyuranger actress) but they weren't able to so eventually they had to handle with a replacement and that would be Sabrina Lu.

I don't know how truthful this is but it is an interesting story and I thought I would share it. I would assume it's truthful since it's something Wendee apparently stated.
