Its too bad they aren't union. Their actors deserve it.

indeed (except Samuell Benta) but Disney didn't want to be force to pay union rates and the same thing with Saban Brands among other required benefits and luxuries.

Its part of how they save money and why it is cheaper to film in New Zealand. Now there are other reasons. But being non union is one of them.

I wonder if they would get better actors if they were union.The union years gave us some of our best casts.

Well MMPR season 1 had the best cast. And they were non union. I don't really care about the actors anyway. As long as they are on the show and doing a good job. They make a lot of money anyway.

So you don't care about the actors? For one thing there not all rich. The MMPR actors werent rich either. JDF has done well for himself since than. But just because you are an actor it it doesn't make you rich. Actors still deserve to be treated fairly. The MMPR cast had to do a lot of extra stuff and didn't get paid extra for it like they would have if they were union.

Now a lot of that was because MMPR mania was out of control and unexpected.It was a grueling schedule none the less. The cast did agree to work for a non union operation but they did have to deal with a lot.

I'm a huge Adam mark, so I was happy with his returns. But Zack would have been just as good. Hip Hop Kido could have made a cameo too.
