Catherine Sutherland as Dulcea

So, I was watching one of the panels [The Turbo one from Power Morphicon I believe] and I'm sure this has been discussed a lot but Catherine Sutherland, who was Kat on Power Rangers, had originally tried out for the part of Dulcea for the MMPR movie but didn't get the part. Curious as to what you think would've happened if they did give her the part.

Personally I just can't see Cat as Dulcea at all.
Catherine looks too sweet to play such a tough character that Dulcea is.

I mean I'd be interested to see what it'd be like, but I think you're right.
She doesn't have that mean feel to her, sure she played a bad guy for a bit but that was more of a bland kind of evil in my opinion, which is why she could sell it because technically she was under Rita's control.

But if she did get the part, I wonder who would've played Kat.

I think its hilarious that they picked her up in Australia to be the new Pink Ranger and there was like 6 episodes left of Mighty Morphin after she finally got her powers

Yea, I agree but hey it worked. what's even funnier about that is that even though she was introduced to her own Shark Cycle, she never used it. Her introduction to it was the last time we saw it.

What are you gonna do though right?
I'd love to see her back for the reunion episode in Megaforce.
Basically all of the original cast would come back if they are asked to, some people are iffy about it like David Yost but I think thats just a matter of how much would you pay him.
Which I think that'd be cool if we saw them together one more time in an episode.

Yea, I think a lot would be willing to come back but some would depend on the union status.

I'm sure some are willing to come back as long as they're treated like they're in the union even if the show isn't but some actors might not be willing to even shoot a single episode for a non-union show no matter what.

Well I saw a list somewhere giving off characters from each season that the actor/actress said would come back if asked or possible that they would for whatever reason, I saw people like Commander Mitchell and Dana, Ricardo Medina said he'd come back and probably play Cole and a couple others. The ones who attend Power Morphicon are usually the ones that would come back

Yea, of course they say they will but they might not be aware of the current situation with the show. Some of them might not even be aware that they're shooting in New Zealand nowadays.

Don't know where this list was at though.

We can only be certain that the Disney-Kiwi actors (Ninja Storm-RPM) would return for any reunion appearances. Plus Ricky Medina since he's already returned once before anyway due to him playing Deker in Samurai/Super Samurai.
