I know this has been said...but I think it may really have been Jason. They were together during Muranthias, and actually seemed close. Just a thought...and if it wasn't him, who else could it have been?

Amy Jo Johnson left the show. Thats why the broke Tommy and Kimberly off. Which lead to the Tommy/Kat romance.
