I liked Merrick. He was an imperfect character with a guilty past. The op's idea does sound like an interesting alternative.

I agree Orgs were evil. Merrick was never going to be a real Org.

But Taylor said Orgs don't have hearts? They are the embodiment of evil spirits. Zen-Aku going good would make him no longer an Org.

Toxica and Jindrax did become good Orgs. But they seemed like special cases.

I think Merrick was fine like he was. I like that he didn't hog the spotlight like other Sixth's have done at times.

They should have kept Zen-Aku as his own entity after Merrick got free. I mean as a regular as opposed to only seeing him a few times like we did afterwards.
