Default Social Media And Its Effect on the Fandom

I was thinking today about how much the fandom has changed since I have been apart of it. When I first jioned, PR sites like PRC, PRO ( the original version), PROA, Writers Guide and Morphing Grid we're big. The Usenet Newsgroup was the place to discuss Power Rangers. But message boards we're really starting to take off. Message Boards like PRC and PRO we're emerging.

Nowadays Social Media has taking over. Now Rangerboard is the place to discus Power Rangers. As well as other big boards like Rangercrew, PRU, Rangervision. A lot of the old traditional webmasters have left with little new ones to replace them. Instead wikis have emerged. Facebook and Livejournals have also sprang up. The fandom very much is dominated by the big Message Boards.

Obviously this isn't just something our fandom has gone through. Its a change that has effected the whole internet. As the net will continue to evolve.
