Well if Sledge didn't have those Asteriod and tried to steal the Energems, Earth wouldn't have been attacked. Keeper did nothing wrong. If Sledge got the energems the whole galaxy would have been in peril. Who knows Sledge could have rose to Grand Monarch of the UAE over Specter.
