you know I was thinking about this and I was thinking about how Astronema seemed to be lifeless after her Staff blast hit her after it deflected off of the Spiral Saber and even though it looks like she's dead I was thinking that perhaps she wasn't technically dead I'm thinking that perhaps her hardware might have just shut down and Zordon's energy assisted in removing Dark Specter's programming.

Now in the case of Kendrix. I do believe she did die but for those that might want to argue that she didn't since she came back in the finale I think a good explanation is that when she was morphed the explosion of the destruction of the Savage Sword completely overloaded her including her morphed state and therefore it appears as if she died but her "ghostly appearance" actually goes into the Quasar Saber itself instead of just simply fading away like a death would happen or just the person just laying there and eventually becoming completely lifeless which is another way to show a death happening.

Interesting. Never thought of the fact that Karone could have been alive the whole time.

Your right on the money with Kendrix. She was absorbed into the quasar saber and couldn't come back until they were returned to the stone.

I always thought the power of love brought Karone back. Zordon's Wave already hit and Zordon was gone. There is nothing he could have done for Karone.

It was residual energy from the wave. It just took longer to work. Besides it was more dramatic that way.

This is why I like Sentai better. Karone would have stayed dead if this was sentai. Having her come back by magic tears was silly and ruined the drama.

It's fun to remember when PR was actually well written and not a paraody of itself that it's mostly been for over a decade now.

Another more obvious example is Mike " dying"' But really being absorbed by Megna Defender.

exactly it was residual energy from the wave I think it just took longer to work on Karone because of Dark Specter's programming that was in her.

The saber saved Kendrx from dying. It just took awhile to restore her.

I agree with Rocky. The Quasar Saber trapped Kendrix's spirit inside of it due to her bravery and noble sacrifice of saving her friend for her own life. The Saber chose Kendrix originally, so maybe it wanted to be able to keep her alive even if it was through spirtual means. Once the sword was put back into the stone, the sword released Kendrix because it knew she was once again safe.
