Who is Lord Drakkon?
 

Screenrant talked with Kyle Higgins ( Boom MMPR comics ) about issue 12 and the recent big reveal of Lord Drakkon's idenity....Along with his backstory. Drakkon is a mysterious new evil Ranger..The MMPR comic explores the days after Tommy first joined the team and features original storylines..

Just a word of wording , the articles includes heavy spoilers on the comics .

This sounds awful. An alternate universe with an evil Tommy? Thats just bad, even an alternate Tommy should never turn evil.

Sounds pretty amazing to me. Its awesome to explore what might have been . I wonder how this Tommy went so bad? Its going to be interesting to find out what happened to Rita. I wonder why Lord Zedd hasn't returned.

Agreed. Nice to see someone realize the evil potential Tommy has. Even it has to be an AU of the era I actually don't mind Tommy .

Eh, not really good for my tastes. Making it all about Tommy and some alternate evil version is ridiculous. The comics should be focusing on everyone. And really should have started with the era before Tommy.

I would have rather the comic reboot things from the beginning. It would have been interesting to get the alternate origin story.

I don't like that the new comic isn't part of the television continuity. It would have been easy to do too. Since I am sure there were many off air adventures for the MMPR team.

The Boom Comics are doing some good stuff. I am loving Lord Drakken. Parallel universe stories are always fun. And its really cool to see what they are doing with AU Tommy. He is almost like the evil White Ranger. Which is interesting since people that don't like Tommy,seem to hate his time as White Ranger.
