Unfortunately as bad as it was we can't just discredit it otherwise we'd be picking and choosing what is allowable in the show and what isn't which we as fans shouldn't be doing otherwise we'd be just as bad as Jonathan Tzachor himself who actually wanted to remove all Disney seasons from continuity.

Yeah, we can't just go making things non canon because we don't like it. Unless somehow Megaforce is retconned an au. But I highly doubt that. RPM was made an AU but that was a special circumstance.
