Was it a mistake to have Ryan find his father in the second season?
 

Do you think it was a mistake to have Ryan find his father in season 2? Sometimes changing a show like that can be bad. But no one's every cited as a reason why VR Troopers went off the air.

I think it made the beginning of season 2 interesting. It was neat seeing Ryan and Tyler work together to make new powers. It would have been nice to see Tyler stick around longer. But they probably wanted to try to separate them again without having Tyler get captured. Also we don't know if the actor was available. Season 2 was still interesting , despite Ryan not searching for his father anymore. Now it was about beating Grimlord , so Ryan and his Dad could spend time together in peace.

Not really in fact I wished they used him more since he could have helped explain a lot of how the VR Troopers powers worked, and maybe go into detail on Ryan's family.
