Was Tyler Steele wrong to groom Ryan to become a Trooper?
 

Its pretty clear that Tyler Steele was grooming his son to be a VR Trooper for years. Those flashbacks to the martial arts training Tyler gain Ryan, really show how Tyler was preparing him for something special. Tyler made sure Ryan would get access to the VR Troopers Powers when he came of age....Even if Tyler himself was not around. So that begs the question of whether it was ethical for Tyler to condition his son in that way?

I always imagined that Tyler originally had it where he was going to be the Red, and Blue VR Trooper (Metalder), Professor Heart was going to be the Black VR Trooper (Spielban), and someone else maybe Ryan's mom was going to be the Red VR Trooper (Diana Lady), and he simply trained Ryan so that just in case he himself couldn't be a VR Trooper Ryan could in his place.

Ethically it wouldn't have been right but Zabitan makes a good point. Perhaps Ryan was a backup plan in case something happened.
