Rita never had a motif it was Finster who had the motif. Zedd's motif was actually inanimate creatures so Kaboom fits since a rocket is inanimate in fact most of Rita's own monsters were through spells.

Giant = a spell
Madame Woe = this was kinda strange since she spoke to Finster as if he needed to make her but she later just contacts her like a normal convo.
Knasty Knight = a spell but apparently it was done in conjunction with his Sword of which had to be made beforehand
Wheel of Misfortune = transformed a regular spinning wheel with her magic
Lokar = spell to summon him
Mutitus = spell to summon him
Brick Bully = created him
Impursonator = created her

where's the theme?
