Usagi's treatment in episode 17

I had to get this off my chest, because I'm having difficulties watching this episode.

Does anyone else think that Usagi was horribly treated in episode 17?

I know Usagi was delirious in thinking she'll become a model. But she really got some bad treatment from the other characters.

Luna
Shingo

I mean some of the things they said could really scar people.

I think it was more of not thinking Usagi was serious about it for Luna and Mamoru. Luna also didnt like it when Usagi distracted herself from the mission. For Shingo it was just sibling rivalery.
